# Constitutional Convention draft working version - Day 0

The Cardano Constitutional Convention is being held between December 4-6 2024. On December 3, delegates, alternates, and members from the interim Constitutional Committee held a final in-person synthesis session to make further refinements to the draft text published on November 20th.

The synthesis workshop on December 3rd 2024 followed Chatham House Rule, and ran for approximately 8 hours.

The below version is the updated text based off these deliberations, and will be the working version used on Day 1 (December 4, 2024) as the deliberations continue. At the conclusion of Day 1, the working version below will go through further refinements, with a version available for delegates to consider on Day 2 (December 5, 2024) when voting opens.

**Note:** the text below includes the markups in strikethrough, and remains a working version for Day 1 of the Convention.

**Additional note:** a new appendix has been added with definitions

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://2024constitutionalconsultation.docs.intersectmbo.org/cardanos-constitution/draft-cardano-constitution/constitutional-convention-draft-working-version-day-0.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
