Welcome letter
Dear Constitutional Delegate / Traveling Alternate,
Thank you for your recent participation in a Constitutional workshop and congratulations on your election as a Constitutional Delegate (or traveling alternate) to attend the Constitutional Convention in Argentina in December!
You have been elected by your fellow community members as their representative at the Convention. Thank you for playing such an important role, and we look forward to seeing you there!
The Convention will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from Tuesday 3rd until Friday 6th December and we will cover the cost of your trip so you will incur no expenses.
What is expected from you as a delegate/alternate from now?
Delegate Synthesis Workshops: You should have already received email invitations to Delegate synthesis workshops taking place in the lead-up to the Constitutional Convention, including an in-person regional session in early November.
The objective of these synthesis sessions will be to review the output data from the global constitutional workshops and, as representatives of your communities, come to collective agreement on a final version of the Constitution text that will be approved in Argentina.

Represent your community. This role should be taken seriously and it is important to keep the communication open between you and your local community. Feel free to share information, feedback and insights to them. The objective is to maintain community involvement and enthusiasm for the process.
Social media - During your stay in Argentina, we invite you to share the experience on social media. Help us to get the word out! We will provide guidance on-site when to post and when not to post in order to respect the privacy of other attendees and avoid disclosing confidential information. At present, please feel free to share that you will attend the Convention event in December!
Book Your Flights - Within the next two weeks you will receive a registration link to the TravelPerks booking platform. Once registered, you will be able to select your desired flights to attend the Convention.
We suggest that you aim to arrive on Sunday 1st December and depart on Saturday 7th December.
The airport is called “Ezeiza International Airport”, also known as “Ministro Pistarini International Airport”. The airport code is “EZE”.
Flights will be subject to approval by the Constitution Project Team ensuring that they meet the requirements set out in the travel policy attached to this email. Once approved, you will receive a booking confirmation via email.
Food and drink during the entire event (from Sunday 1st to Saturday 7th December) will be covered. If you decide to arrive before the event and leave after the breakfast served on Saturday 7th, you will have to pay for all such expenses incurred.
We will also cover the cost of the transport from your home to the airport and from the airport to your home after the Convention. Details of the expense policy will be sent out separately, including how to claim back expenses incurred and details of any exclusions.
We understand some people may wish to arrive early to Buenos Aires to attend some local community events. In this case we will still allow booking of your flights through TravelPerks but please note that you will need to find your own accommodation. Flights will still need to comply with the travel policy and must be within the allowable range even when arriving early.
Cardano Tech week is planned to begin Nov 27th in Palermo, Argentina.
Hotel accommodations: A hotel block is available for all delegates and alternates. You will be able to check in with your name and identification upon arrival. Confirmation numbers can be provided where needed to fulfill visa requirements.
